After receiving an honorable discharge from the United States Navy and serving in the Korean Conflict. The North Carolina native moved to Tennessee in 1959 and married Frances (Yow). They built a multi-state chain of beauty supply stores that were later acquired by Sally Beauty Supply. In 1988 he acquired his real estate license and started a Century 21 Real Estate office. He then focused his talents in creating a real estate portfolio. Now he is also enjoying a classic car business.

He brings executive hotel and development experience to the company. He was on the Board of Directors of Region Seven with Choice Hotels. He has over twenty years of experience with commercial leasing, maintenance, and development. He has recently attained a Level II SWPP Certification, and a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University Of Tennessee.

Bryan comes from the banking industry. He comes from First Tennessee Bank as an internal auditor and then Oak Ridge National Laboratory Federal Credit Union as the Chief Auditor of all branches. He has a total of twenty-four years in the finance and accounting field. He acquired a Bachelors Degree in Finance from the University Of Tennessee.

He comes with experience as a realtor from Century 21 Real Estate, hotel management, and a Associates Degree in Business Administration from Draughons Business College. He has been involved in commercial leasing for tseveral years. Gary has achieved these obstacles after undergoing a major brain operation in 1982 .
